Actually, I made a thread about it a while back. Slow is still the way to go, IMO.

There was a lot of different opinions on that thread. Some people like slow speed and some like fasters speeds. Its all personal preference and I agree with the OP faster speeds make the game more challenging where you have to make quick decisions. Slow and very slow makes the game too easy for experienced players..

I think very slow is out of the question for me. I think that would really frustrate me.

I barely can play on Normal but I can tolerate it when I play online. I'm use to fast or very fast. There's no way I can play slow or very slow. It would be too frustrating for a player like me. Plus its no challenge IMO slowing the game down like that. Its too easy to make reads on offense and react to the ball on defense. I like the game to be fast just like it is in real life and I love the challenge of having to make quick decisions with the ball on offense and react quick on defense against the pass or the run. Anything under Normal is too slow motion for me.. But to each his own. I just don't understand why people try to say that slow is the way to go when there is a decent amount of people who don't like playing on those slow speeds..

Re: Authentic's 2012 Slider Project

I just had an insane game with these sliders. I was Dallas.

DAL 52
NYG 45

Passing:

DAL:
Romo 117.9 Rat. 27-49 55% 523 Yds. 5 TDs 1 Int.

NYG:
Manning 126.9 Rat. 23-37 62% 429 Yds. 4 TDs 1 Int.

Rushing:

DAL:
Jones 32 Att. 111 Yds. 1 TD 1 Fumb.

NYG:
Bradshaw 18 Att. 100 Yds. 2 TDs
Jacobs 2 Att. 20 Yds.

Receiving: Only guys w/ multiple Rec.

DAL:
Bryant 11 Rec. 247 Yds. 3 TDs 1 Drop
Austin 7 Rec. 151 Yds. 1 TD 4 Drops
Ogletree 4 Rec. 47 Yds. 1 TD
Johnson 3 Rec. 47 Yds.

NYG:
Manningham 6 Rec. 193 Yds. 2 TDs 1 Drop
Hixon 5 Rec. 48 Yds.
Beckum 4 Rec. 62 Yds.
Nicks 2 Rec. 64 Yds. 1 TD
Bradshaw 2 Rec. 16 Yds.

Defense: Only guys w/ Sacks/Ints

DAL:
Newman 7 Tot. Tack. 1 Int.
Ware 4 Tot. Tack. 1 Sack

NYG:
Tuck 5 Tot. Tack. 1 Sack
Kiwanuka 4 Tot. Tack. 1 Int.

I got 4 Roughing the Passer calls in 1 1/2 Quarters so I turned it down to 55, then I got 2 more in the 3rd so I turned it to 50.

My guys were continually dropping easy picks so I turned my Ints. to 60.

Romo continuously missed easy wide open throws so I turned my QB Acc. up to 50.

That is awesome to hear, most of my games have been low scoring. Good to see some variety. Also sounds like a very fun game!

Yeah, it was fun, but I felt like I had the ball too much. I had it for like 25 min. to their 15 min.

Re: Authentic's 2012 Slider Project

Two very minor changes. I am going to tone down the user pass rush and take the roughing the passer slider down. User pass rush down to 30 from 40 and late hits down to 55.

Re: Authentic's 2012 Slider Project

Changes are made to the first post. Just played the Patriots in the snow. I was actually saved the a late hit, stupid. I won 24-13 but the Patriots played a great game, 2 tip interceptions in the red zone killed them or they would have beat me. I think the late hits will be down now, might even go to 50 if I see a lot at 55. Other than that, Brady passed for 290 yards and Green-Ellis ran for 160 yards, tore me apart. AP had 105 yards on 25 carries and McNabb was 24-40 for 195 yards and 2 TD's and 1 interception. Great game, would have been closer and might have lost if it wasn't for that late hit, NE would've got the ball with 2 minutes left at midfield, cpu wanted me to do a fake punt so I had to, haha.
