Is it better to have the computer settings higher than human settings?

Sorry if there has been an explanation in the past, but I've been looking at different slider settings and I'm currently playing on Playmakers settings. I just don't really understand the whole slider adjustment. Been playing on all madden for years and I'm just now messing with sliders. Can someone please advise me or redirect me to a good starter thread. Thanks.

If you been playin on All-Madden for years check out my sliders.. I have a great base set in red you can start of with to see where you are at if you been playing on default All-Madden. When it becomes to easy you can move up to my harder sets.. Read everything I have to say in my thread..
