Hit Stick question

Ok i'm about to rent madden 2006 and i'm wondering since all i've been hearing is vision passing have they added more animations for the hit-stick? I found my self always doing that when i play madden 05 and i hope they have a bunch more in 06

no for the most part their the same animations.

Tackle. The hit stick is fun and all, but the tackle is just way more reliable.....

When it becomes the Truck Stick on offense there's some nice animations. Last night I was playing my first SS game as the Raiders. It was a running play with Lamont Jordan. I used the truck stick to run over a 49er. He did, but his helmet came off, and he kept going another 8-9 yards! Never seen that before.

I use the Hit Stick mostly on special teams play. I have caused a good amount of fumbles like that. I use it during regular plays only when I am squared up and in position. Otherwise, it is the regular tackle button.

I hit Alex Smith with a lineback using the Hit stick and the animation looked like I almost snapped his back in half. Damn it was cool.
