    Passes to the flat

I need some defensive help. Just played a buddy who passed to the flat 2/3 of the time and almost always for 1st downs and at least one TD. How can I stop this? He is likely audibling to a slant with his RB or FB and my LBs never seem to be able to read it or adjust to it. And since this is Madden 360, I can't tell the LB or DB to man cover anyone because playmaker didn't make the cut.

I have tried Cover 3 with LB zone coverage in the flat but noone ever seems to be there. WHat am I missing? I am sure it is something simple but it isn't working for me.

    Thanks in advance.

Definitely a cover 2 zone... and make sure to bump those wideouts in order to give the safeties time to get into position near the sidelines to protect deep just in case he sees the flat coverage and tries to go deep on you w/ a flag (post) route.

Whoops, I meant a corner route... the cover 2 is actually weak against the post
