Honestly, what are they doing in a year? they should stop adding garbage like superstar and just focus on a great game of football including formation audibles.

Audibles
What is the point if you have to change your formation? If the CPU is stacking the run and i audible to pass the CPU moves to a new defense. They may have the wrong personnel but it takes away from the game.

Re: Audibles
Isn't that what happens in real life? lol ...
You call an audible to a pass play with the D having 8 in the box. All of a sudden your deep threat No. 3 WR is being manned up by an outside linebacker. Bingo you just created a mismatch.
Audible success has been achieved.
I know what you're saying but. You could make your own manual audibles. If you did all your audibles from the I-Formation, you could fool the CPU without moving a man ... -

Re: Audibles
Fluffy I think youre missing the point. If I'm lined up in a single back 2 TE, 2 WR set and its a run but I see the defense crowding the line of scrimage I want to be able to audible into a pass but not change my formation which would basically give it away. If I line up in a single back 2 te 2 wr set for a run and then I switch to a 3 wr 2 rb shotgun then I'm basically telling the entire world I'm gonna pass. Formation audibles are great because you can change the play from run to pass and vice versa but buy not changing your setup it doesnt give it away. I remember playing last years Madden on the PS2 and I would always do form audibles and the CPU never moved his men around. I hope Madden 08 for the PS2 is the same.
Some of us dont like being forced to have all our audibles in one formation.Originally posted by FluffyTonkaI know what you're saying but. You could make your own manual audibles. If you did all your audibles from the I-Formation, you could fool the CPU without moving a man ...Comment

Re: Audibles
I hear you ... I know what you're saying. But, you don't have to go to shotgun formation and make it so obvious. The audibles aren't perfect, but, they are playable and workable. You can have a passing audible that isn't from shot gun.
BUt you are right. Form audibles would be great, even if their only benefit would be for online playComment

Youre right. Its not perfect like the PS2/Xbox but they are workable. Besides the 360 version has more glaring issues than this.Comment

Re: Audibles
This is why my audibles are all in the same formation. That way, if I audible from run to pass and the defense adjusts too, I'll audible again to a run play in the same formation. Problem solved.

Re: Audibles
Let me ask you guys something. How often do you see an NFL quarterback call an audible and then have the offense move around? I hardly ever happens. Thats whats so great about form audibles. Ok I know that wasnt neccesary but I just wanted to get it off my chest.Comment

Re: Audibles
5 audibles...more than enuff to do anything and everything.
I can go from Singleback Slot audible to I-form and have Hester line up at the TE spot. Run PA TE Corner, hot route Hester to a streak and make the D pay.
There were too many glitches with formation audibles, esp the one where you could create the QB Draw.Last edited by Bizzy Da Kid; 09-04-2007, 10:43 AM.Comment
