madden 08 PC problems

I just installed madden 08 PC on my comp, I cant get it to play right. everything shows up all jacked up. kind of like how nintendo used to look when it got messed up like all pixelated and everything players barely show up stadium and crowd look jacked up. i have a nvidia 7300 256 grafix card, windows xp. more 2Gig ram, more than enough to run the game.

i turned all the video and audio settings down to lowest and it didnt change anything. anyone know what could be the problem here?

That's wierd...specially w/ your specs(that I know of)...I have an ATI x1300 pci-e 512 card and over 2 gig of ram (XP also)...so we're similar in that department...I NEVER had an issue w/ graphics on the PC since I installed it a couple of weeks ago, but my only two suggestions that I have are to make sure nothing that you do not need is running on your comp. when you load the game and maybe defrag the Hard drive...OR you may just have had a bad install and might need to do it again...also, try out footballfreaks.com (I believe that's the name), as they have quite a bit of info in regards to the PC version(not too mention some great mods/rosters/editors I hope this helps in some way...

yeah i tghink the issue was my current driver wasnt dirext-x9c compatable, i updated the driver and it worked. thats the first time updating a driver actually fixed a problem in a pc game.

Anytime there is a graphical quirk with a game similar to what you're seeing, 99% of the time I'd wager it's your video card drivers.

I never even thought of that one...anyway, Renegade how do you like the game on the PC? I'm actually enjoying it myself, much more than the next gen version. Either way, it's nice to hear that you got it working.
