Is their a way to upload an NCAA roster when prompted by the computer if I dont have NCAA football?....I want to start my franchise in Madden 2009 and would like to know if this is possible. If so, can someone explain this?..Thanks!

No, they can't send it to you over LIVE. You need one of the following:
1) Datel Transfer Kit, a Memory Unit, and either Xchange (comes with the kit) or Xplorer360 - $54.98 + tax for the Kit & MU
2) Xsata and Xplorer360 - $49.99 for Xsata, Xplorer360 is free
3) Xport and Xplorer360 - $49.99 for Xport (I think), Xplorer360 is free
Then, if you're using Xplorer360 with any of those you will need XIC if you get draft classes that were made using Xchange.Comment

the xport software will convert z36 files into use with that - XIC is no longer needed
A transfer cable form microsoft will also work with most hdds (which is free)Comment

Didn't know that about the Xport software, thanks for letting him know.
There are already a couple of threads with people sharing PS3 draft classes, one of them is near the bottom of this page right at the moment, looks like the others may be back a few pages.Comment
