[Random] Greenscreen feature for the future

Just saw the news release on the Madden 09 Superbowl sim results (I still like the Cards in an upset), but they had a few greenscreen images of players along with the article:

I wish we had a way to release this power to consumers - I would assume you all could find ways to do all kinds of cool stuff. That's an assumption though...would you all use it? How exactly do you think you could use it?

(PS there's no way this could be in Madden 10 )

That would be neat! If it were possible to get in Madden 10. And believe me i would use it!

ps. I still have yet to get a next gen system. But it's coming as soon as i get my tax money. Also madden 09 is as well!

What would this be for? Just fun ways to put players in a screen photo position? I think it's something that could be added for EASW. Or even game loading sequences.

I too do not understand the question.... What would this feature do again?

If this was made possible I would go create my player, place him on the falcons, upload him, put him in a signature

I'm sure there are other stuff that could be done with this, but my mind is frozen right now so others can bring them up.

When i see that image the first thing that pops in my head is the players models seems to have a hunch back look to him, and the players thighs are still to huge as well. Arms seem a bit long too. I hope the player models improve in 2010 and beyond, grahics look great but player models seem a bit off proportionally.

I dunno really - it's just that you could turn on greenscreen and take screenshots of individual players without any background (thus allowing you to do anything in Photoshop or whatever)

Ok, i'm with ya.... That's what I thought you meant, but wasn't sure.

It would be kinda cool to let us upload the player shot (greenscreen) to EA Sportsword, edit it and send it back to the game.... for franchise newspaper shots... Damn i'm good

It's an interesting idea actually. It could be used for making player cards, signatures and banners or graphics for fan sites.

I wouldn't categorize it under priority, but I could see it being a useful feature for some in the online community.

Is it officially going to be called Madden 10?

WOW that looks really really good. Are 10's graphics going to be better?
