I'm just wondering whatever happened to that option.. any reason why it had been taken out?

I have never understood this feature. APF 2k8 has the accelerated play clock and I always turn it off. I don't want my game to go faster. Can't you just use shorter quarters if you want a quicker game? Or am I missing something?

The accelerated playclock makes the Time Of Possession more realistic. On top of that it makes it more realistic how much time you have to actually snap the ball. It also gives you the chance to play with 15 minute Quarters without the game actually taking 3+ hours to finish.

Its just that it was never programmed in next-gen systems until this year ...?

I would hope it makes it back this year. After hearing the chance of it coming out via. DLC, I would think it would but not getting hopes up till I hear it officially. I miss playing my 15 minute quarters.

It will be back in this year..they had it ready as a patch for last year and the video game buracracy(sp) shut Ian and co.. down. Although it hasn't been confirmed and being from vegas the odds are -1200 that it's in.

me too that is one of the main reasons i get madden on ps2 as opposed to 360 because it has that and coach mode both of those are great

well then ian should make managing the clock more realistic i mean ive seen where the clock is ticking down to the last few seconds of a quarter only to have to call a play watch the offense and defense break the huddle only to hear the gun go off and signal the end of the quarter i mean nfl teams dont do that and that is in there so nice try with the sarcasm there bro
