    Will You Sign Mike Vick?

Ok, after reading Mr. Moore's Pat White/Mike Vick thread I couldn't help but wonder... Since Vick is theoretically available this year will you sign him to your team in Madden 10 if he is a free agent?

Moore made the point of Vick having 95 spd and 97 thp (whether or not these will be his ratings in Madden 10 is still anyone's guess). I am thinking it would be interesting to sign him for a Detroit Lions Franchise.

I'd have no shame in signing him... Anyone else? Which team and what position?

I'm gonna give my dog a virtual Madden gun so he can put a virtual Madden bullet between Michael Vick's virtual Madden eyes...does that answer your question?

Yeah I'd sign him. What he's done outside of football doesn't affect his ability on the field, if he's still got it. Was it wrong, absolutely, but just think about the fun you'd have with him.

And a Lions franchise with Stafford/Vick.... Most likely I'd put him back on the Falcons.

Position just depends on his ratings in the game.

This thread isn't going to end well. Moderation is a good thing.

              Peace

              PS

Yes, I would sign Mr. Vick

I'd definitely sign him. He's serving his time, give him another chance to earn a living.

Since im from New York i think it is acceptable to say that i will sign Vick to the Jets, Kellen Clemens is a joke but i will say the other Brett, Brett Raftlit has some potential ahead of him and if you saw some of the jets preseason games you know what im talking about

I didn't intend this thread to invite people to get on their personal soap box to act righteous. It was a meant to be a Yes or no question (not a debate) and with which team you'd put him on (and which position).

After he's served his time, he should get a second chance and he'll get one somewhere.

I would have no interest in signing him in franchise though, just because he's not a good QB... a great athlete, but not a good QB. Running the Wildcat maybe, but as a passer... nope. Drop back passers win championships... always have and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Everyone makes mistakes. People who have committed harsher crimes are right back at work the next day. He has paid his debt to society, now let the man live. Well, hopefully he doesn't try to sneak any more water bottles through airport security.

depending on his ratings in this years game and if it was the right price- YES.

The minute he is signed to any of the 32 teams in the NFL is the minute they become the single most hated team in the NFL.

That being said, is there any team he could possibly go to and the backlash not be too much to cripple the organization other than the Raiders?? Isn't he a perfect fit for that disaster of a franchise?

I think the most realistic team to pick him up is Oakland. He would be a perfect fit for Al Davis and he would look good in Silver and Black.
