The teams look correct to me. Don't forget that some of the teams run Hybrid which should include both defenses. I'm sure you do, but my brother was complaining about something along these lines the other day, so I figured I'd drop it on you. I think he was referring to non-user controlled teams during simulation or whatever.

p.s. The Cardinals run a Hybrid just like the Ravens and the Packers probably will too

They base out of a 3-4 but on occasion they’ll take one of their outside linebackers and put him down in a 3 point stance (Travis LaBoy and Bertrand Berry the last few seasons). <o></o>

What we do have at our disposal now is the ability to override their default formation position...so on a per play basis we can have one of the outside linebackers use a 3 point stance and it gives the look of a 4-3. We can then mix those plays in with the other 3-4 plays in that set.

I'd say the Jets will run Hybrid ...should probably be similar to Ravens PB now.

Looks good to me. You're right about the Cardinals. They run a hybrid.

Dolphins do run a 3-4, but when they had Jason Taylor they also ran more of a hybrid. Which is why JT was a DE and an OLB. I'm not sure if they still run the a hybrid form, but if you guys are implementing some sort of "hybrid" defense in Madden 10, I would give it to Miami just in case.

The Patriots run a 3-4, but they also have some 4-3 alignments where Seymour lines up at DT and Jarvis Green becomes the fourth DE. Heck, Seymour even made the Pro Bowl as a DT.

Now they need to focus on how the hybrid DE affects ratings. We see players coming from college all the time like Demarcus Ware who played DE in college and then moved to OLB in a 3-4 defense. You can't do this in Madden because a 90 DE would decrease to like a 74 OLB. I know it may be impossible but OLB should have different ratings depending on what formation they align. I only reference 3-4 and 4-3, no trying to get too technical.

A 3-4 De is almost the same as a 4-3 DT.

The Patriots do all kinds of weird stuff. They sometimes go with only one DL on 3rd and long.
