Coin Toss - Madden 12 PS2 vs Madden Current Gen

OK. I am amazed.

Madden 12 on the PS2 (which I didn't know existed btw) actually has the coin toss accurately represented with 'deferring' the choice.

I wish I knew how to embed the video, if someone could tell me I'd appreciate it, but I thought I'd share this and try and gage your opinions...

Other than the fact that you can't skip it in previous games I have no problem with it. I do wish that computer controlled teams would more realistically choose to defer, though (the Rams would defer most likely, as would most other defensive teams, and the Patriots, etc). Not a big deal, but it would be a nice touch.

Exactly. Surely the cpu teams could happily choose otherwise... Its not hard to hard code within coaches a preference for the coin toss? or at LEAST randomise it if they wanna do things the EA way and take a shortcut...

I posted this though because it shows a clear lack of attention to detail AGAIN on this gen that was clearly there in previous gens.

Yeah, I've always found it odd that on every Madden game this gen, the CPU never chooses different coin toss options.
