datel xbox 360 transfer kit question...

ok, i have a datel xbox 360 transfer kit and a 64mb memory card. i have chi's draft class downloaded and extracted to my desktop. i open the transfer kit icon on the desk top... and here is where i am stuck! i searched some threads on these forums and used google, but could not find a direct answer on how to get the draft classes on my 64mb memory card.

can someone give me a link with a tutorial on how to use this? do i click and drag the extracted draft classes somewhere? how do i get the draft classes onto the memory card using the datel xbox 360 transfer kit?

i guess i figured it would be a 'plug n play' type thing. i used to use the maxdrive for ps2 and that was pretty simple... can someone please help me?

I have one and i use the original software when i use my brothers 64mb card.

You have to download the file (roster or draft class) and then move it into your My Documents\\X360 Memcard Images folder.

You then open Xchange 360 and then backup your card and then once you are done you can take and load the draft class to the memory card.

The issue with this is that if you only have 1 memory card you now don't have your roster file or anything else on that card because its been replaced by the draft class.

I use Xport 360 and Xplorer 360 when i just want to add a roster or draft class to my memory card without having to overwrite my entire 256mb card.

This is not as simple of process as before but this is the way to go if you only have 1 card.

Use Xport 360 to load your card and then click the HDD/MC option and then "Backup To Image" so that it is backed up to your hard drive. (make sure you have clicked the backup entire card option)

Then open Xplorer 360 and click the "Load Image" option. Once the image is loaded then search through the card until you find your rosters and file saves. Then at the top of the program click "Edit" option and then the "Insert File" option. Find the file (make sure you extracted it) and then add it to your card.

Now reopen Xport 360 and click the "Restore From image" option and then let it do its thing and then you are done.

i have everything downloaded, but xport 360 isn't reading that my 64mb memory card is plugged in. it doesn't give me an option to pick a device..

Sounds like you may be using Vista.

Right click on xport 360 ..... and click on "run as administrator" to open it. This may help.

is it possible to use the original software to just put on the draft classes? i guess this is just mad confusing with the xport 360 and xplorer 360. using vista, my memory card isn't being found by the xport 360 even when i run as an administrator.

using anthonyphillips 1st thread, "I have one and i use the original software when i use my brothers 64mb card.

when i go to backup the memory card, i get the message of to re-connect the memory card because it isn't being found. are there certain steps i need to follow when doing this?

ugh, so confusing... any more help would be awesome.

                  thanks for the patience!

Hmmm this is weird. I'm using Windows XP so i really cant say if its a Vista problem but usually the only time i have an issue out of Xchange is when i try and use a memory card that is more then 64mbs. I got that error when i tried to use my 256mb memory card but once i put in my brothers 64mb card it worked fine.

The only way to keep your existing Game Saves and add the draft class is with my Xport and Xplorer solution.

                    Somethings to try with Xport:
                    Run in Administrator
When it comes up "Please Select A Device" take out the Memory Card and then put it back in and see if it recognizes it

Also there could be an issue with your card or your reader because if Xchange backup is grayed out and Xport will not find the card then that could mean theres something wrong. It could also be a simple driver issue.
