This sucks, I mean I know it comes a time when you want to be with family, but to me Madden was, and still is one of the best in the business. Nobody, got me into the game like him. No more "BOOM". I just hope Madden 2010 for the PS2, keeps him and michaels as the announcers, otherwise I'll be updating '09 this year. Goota have have Madden on Madden.Comment

Re: Madden Retires!!!!
has no effect on EA at all. If Madden decided he doesn't want his name associated anymore, then they would have to obviously change the name. But with him retiring from broadcasting, I don't see how it would have any effect on the game.Last edited by countryboy; 04-16-2009, 10:00 AM.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Madden Retires!!!!
People gave Madden hell on this board and others for his commentary, but I personally have always enjoyed it. Ironically, I was watching some DVR last night of a Sunday night game he called last year for the 'Boys vs. the Giants.
As much as I hate to see him go, I'd much rather see him retire on his own terms than to have him "die-out" so to speak.Comment
