Aaron Curry's Ratings in Madden (Official?)

Well, if what they were testing in their pre-game show is official, he has 45 zone coverage, 90 pursuit, 88 tackle, 86 speed and an 85 overall. I guess I tuned in at the right time.

Wowza, i think Aaron Curry is a great player, and would love for my Rams to get him (which they wont), but an 85 as a rookie seems way too high. Especially after all of this talk of reduced ratings.

agree.... 85 is ridiculous for a rookie.

Elite rookie are okay at that. No rookie ever goes beyond 85 and curry is considered to be as safe a pick as there is in this draft.

What was mcfadden last year with all the hype about him, 87 or 88. Now with these "scaled down" ratings a safe player who people are discussing possibly droppin a ways in the draft without near the hype surrounding him get an 85? Seriously?

I do agree with what they are saying. Aaron Curry is no doubt the most NFL ready prospect. He can play OLB or switch to the inside. I would say Curry should be rated 80-82 range instead of 85

Willis was not an 89 when the game came out!!!

And under the new rating system no rookie shud be above 80 at all!!

Donny moore said yesterday that rookies will have to earn good ratings... curry hasn't done anything yet... he'll be lucky to get above 77 imo.

Maybe they were throwing us off on purpose, but I have a feeling that those are the real ratings.

Re: Aaron Curry's Ratings in Madden (Official?)

Curry is the best player in this draft

                        no hype surrounding him?

Andy doesn't really follow Kiper and all them, but they even have him as the top rated prospect

can play in the 3/4 or the 4/3

high ceiling, low floor, and is as safe as you can get

as long as no other prospects are rated higher than 85, this is acceptable

if all 1st rounders are rated 80-82, it will once again make the 1st round useless in madden.

one reason why i loved HC so much was that 1st rounders ranged from 65-95(most years were probably 75-90). granted, the high and low ends were really rare, but it was more realistic.
