Well, if what they were testing in their pre-game show is official, he has 45 zone coverage, 90 pursuit, 88 tackle, 86 speed and an 85 overall. I guess I tuned in at the right time.
Wowza, i think Aaron Curry is a great player, and would love for my Rams to get him (which they wont), but an 85 as a rookie seems way too high. Especially after all of this talk of reduced ratings.
What was mcfadden last year with all the hype about him, 87 or 88. Now with these "scaled down" ratings a safe player who people are discussing possibly droppin a ways in the draft without near the hype surrounding him get an 85? Seriously?
I do agree with what they are saying. Aaron Curry is no doubt the most NFL ready prospect. He can play OLB or switch to the inside. I would say Curry should be rated 80-82 range instead of 85
if all 1st rounders are rated 80-82, it will once again make the 1st round useless in madden.
one reason why i loved HC so much was that 1st rounders ranged from 65-95(most years were probably 75-90). granted, the high and low ends were really rare, but it was more realistic.
