Throwing Motions

Am I the only one who's noticed the new throwing motions in the few madden 10 gameplay videos so far?

In Ian's animation thread, it became clear that yeah... Big Ben and Kurt Warner didn't throw the same in that trailer (Despite the knee bending issue). In the latest Wildcat footage, the Pat White throwing motion looked rather authentic, and more importantly, different than Kurt and Ben. Then that reminded me of the Ronnie Brown throwing the pass in the Wildcat photo (The one with the Ref on the ground). When I googled Ronnie Brown, I saw a picture of him in the same position, and surprisingly enough, it looked exactly like the madden 10 photo.

So is it safe to say that, yeah, there are new/multiple throwing motions in madden 10?

Personally, I think so, but I won't be sold until I see how Peyton throws and how Culter, Rivers, and McNabb throw. Those are some of the most interesting throwing motions in the leauge seeing how Culter sidearm slings it, Peyton cocks it back over and behind his helmet, Rivers throws like a girl, and McNabb has an amazingly quick release.

Would this mean Philip Rivers would get his side-arm "shot-put" throw style? It's seriously the weirdest looking thing ever.

EDIT: Just saw that you mentioned Rivers in your post as well, still though, it would be sweet.

I think you guys need to get your eyes checked. There's no way EA is putting signature style throwing motions in.

They are different. Totally different. Hopefully my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. I'm excited to see some other qbs throw (other than Pat White).

That release actually looks pretty standard to me (for Madden). It's been months since I've played 09 but I thought that was just the normal release last year.

I guess we will have to wait for a video that shows if they are different or not. I posted in another thread its ridiculous for there not to be signature styles of throwing and running in this game, the show has over 1000 batting stances and pitching motions so no one can tell me its not possible or they dont have time.

These look pretty different to me.

Exactly, I HATE kiss up threads like these. They do nothing but make the developer believe things are "OK" when indeed they are far from it.

From the videos i've seen all throwing motions look identical. If there is difference its VERY minor.
THE GOOD
- I noticed a good solid drop back, still to fast pased and not as pronounced.
- I love the Pro Awareness - awesome touch
- The Presentation (lil bit I've seen looks great)

THE BAD
-The QBs leg bends and he "pushes" the ball
-It looks pretty bad in action it just looks very wrong
-Why can't just for once the animation department look at the INCREDIBLE QB throwing motions from 2K8
-QB throwing combined with those horrible non-planting route running look bad altogether.
-Whats up with the DB's and those horrible jam animations and reactions?

Look at the two defenders at the end of this video as the BOTH go into the same animation after the touchdown... To add more life or immersion here's what u could do...

As soon as the touchdown is scored show them either arguing with each other, frustrated, or one of them arguing with the ref for a "push-off" or something... Anything except those bland animations
