EA isn't allowed to talk about the Rocket Catch????

I saw a post that Ian made recently that said something that if they didn't comment or respond about certain things so far, that they either aren't allowed to talk about or don't know yet about the fate of it in Madden 10 yet.

So basically they don't know probably if they can't take out the rocket catch???? That would be horrible if this is suppose to be sim football.

We really need an answer for the rocket catch sooner rather than later.

If the rocket catch is on madden 10, then Madden 10 = FAIL!

IIRC, the animation, per Ian, for the rocket catch is out for 10.

Btw the only madden community that wants the rocket catch still in the game is tourney players with no football knowledge. Is it so hard to ask to eliminate the aspect of the game that requires no knowledge of football or thinking to move the ball down the field?

If the full back dive is supposidely taken care of, why didn't we get any info on the rocket catch yet? Is the words "rocket catch" copy righted or something, so that no one is allowed to use those words from EA? Not hating on EA. I just hate cheesers that exploit the game.

The rocket catch is 100% exploit/glitch/cheap. Takes no football knowledge to use it

I watched 1.5 episodes of Madden Nation and it was nothing more than And 1 with an XBox 360. The only thing it did was show people that if you glitch/rocket catch you have a chance to possibly be on TV. The show was a rocket catch fest.

I don't "want" rocket catching. What I do "want", is to see CPU controlled, or human controlled WR's actually jump for passes that are meant to be jump balls, or are just thrown high.

In next-gen Madden, just about the only time I ever see a WR leap off the ground, is for what is called a "Rocket Catch".

SO HELP ME JESUS IF REALISTIC JUMP BALL SITUATIONS ARE NOT IN MADDEN 10!

Yea it's horrible. It's sad going to tournaments where those guys actually play and when they play against u, they talk trash like they know football and understand the game just becuz they can rocket catch, throw a curl pass, or fb dive. I almost feel bad for them cuz they don't understand real concepts of football and once that becomes a factor in madden, u will see a serious drop off from those bums. If they have to watch football on Sundays to learn real gameplans for the game, they might need a suicide hotline for those cheesers cuz the bums will jump off bridges if they need a real scheme

It's pretty much a larry Fitzgerald jump ball catch, but imagine someone doing that to u all game and that's the only way they can move the ball. That's a rocket catch. Search it on YouTube also.

Yea I can understand that it can be frustrating, but thats online play for ya. I refuse to play online for this very reason, however it's not unrealistic for Larry Fitz, or lets say Steve Smith to make huge leaps for big catches in the NFL. (I know this doesn't help the situation, but just saying.)

I agree that those online players who know nothing of real football will find any way to win to improve their record or even win the Madden Challenges, even if it means running FB dive every short down play or throwing hail mary's every other play.

I think I've played a total of 5 games online in Madden and/or NCAA and after I witnessed the same crap...I made the decision to just play offline franchise modes.
