Has the challenge nonsense been fixed?

Has anybody ever had the cpu challenge a play in Madden 09? I have never seen the cpu call a challenge in 09. That needs to be corrected before they go and make the challenge system more complicated.

I hate when they add features to the game that you can use but the cpu will not. In Madden 09 I would never challenge anything because the cpu would never challenge anything. I would never trade players because the cpu would never trade players. Stuff like that annoys me.

sim nor not I would like an option to turn the challenge system off completely. I never really liked having bad calls in a video game.

The CPU does not challenge in 09. If Ian and CO. go by their motto "everything you see on Sunday", challenges HAVE to be fixed. They don't even have to decide how to fix it. Just copy 2k5!

I used to agree with you but since not much have been changed besides tweaking for Franchise, and yet they added all this uniform stuff, I kind of have gone the other way.

Yea that was annoying. I would have the same problem aswell. I think they need to put a list of things you can challenge on like It was on NFL 2k5 I believe. Instead of just allow the AI just replying any old little thing.

Think about how hard it must be to create that logic though. Not only do you have to create situations where the Refs make a bad decision on purpose, but having the CPU challenge that play. Now create situations where all of the following happened but now the CPU challenges but gets it wrong.

Personally I want The Human challenge system to work first, then put the CPU logic for challenges.
