I just noticed in the videos they took away one of my favorite features. I was hoping that they would even add it to the online games. Looks like no replay window of the previous play to watch while you are selecting your next play.

To be honest with you, it was SO tiny that IMO there was little point in it being there in the first place.

Sometimes it got annoying to me. Maybe there might be an option to turn it back on. Ian was talking all about customization in one of his blogs. He said what one player wants, another player may despise and want the option to disable it.

Could've been a "Live action" window option, replacing the one that showed you a random controller input. I get it, A's sprint (I also get that I'm really behind the times in using A to sprint instead of right trigger, apparently).

Pretty much the madden team just wanted to clean it up and make it more simple looking point blank. It was a nice feature. But I like the new look a whole lot better. It's more cleaning looking. So Ian and his crew has done a very good on it.

The video window just needed to be larger. I still think the complete strip down was overdone, and it's raised several issues as a result.

The Madden Wii team really have the right idea with a customizable playcall.

Next year, I think they'll consider having some custom options.

I really liked the video window, seems like I am in the minority here.

If you remember however, one of the first patches for 09 was due to game freezes that was linked to that window. Even though they fixed it maybe that played a part in making it go away. In online games It really is boring not to have anything to look at if you call your defense then have to wait 20-25 secs while the offensive guy looks for a play. Having stuff like stats and replay windows are useful then.
