Too much blocking?

It sounds like people are saying the defense doesnt get enough pressure on the QB or see it in videos.

Did EA make linemen blocking too well in this years Madden? For those who been playing the demo.. Is it harder to get pressure on the QB or do you notice you have more time in the pocket than usuall?

At first when I saw the name of this thread I nearly lost my lunch from laughter but I see you're talking about the pocket.

I personally never have an issue getting the QB as long as I send a blitz and manually take control of my DE.

i can get close to the qb...but he gets so much time to sit back there and wait for routes to develop and as soon as i get right there, he throws and somebody just happens to be open. if i could get that much time in the pocket, i would be okay with it but i don't. i have to dink and dunk so much because the computer can perfectly pressure me since its dumbs down my offensive line. yet the cpu's offensive line is so picture perfect it isnt funny.

I play on All Pro and get a good amount of pressure.

no problem for me cause its just a demo and they are turning it when the demo was relased and even if they dont fix it its a challenge

I literally CAN NOT sack the cpu, it's ridiculous. As soon as I get into the backfield he just passes it to some wide open receiver because they have time to develop their routes. What ever happened to that whole 3 to 5 seconds in the pocket thing Ian was talking about? I pray this is fixed in the retail version.

I'm glad its more of a challenge to sack the QB but, you also dont want it too easy. Sacks dont happen too much in a real game. So, this may be a good thing. Or it could be bad if you can have too much time in the pocket.

Could this new blocking stop Nano-Blitzs?

i used the DE and got pressure on the qb nearly every pass play on All-Pro. on All-Madden, that was a different story. i needed to send a couple LBs to help me out with that.
