Agreed. This is what upsets me the most. M11 DLC franchise mode? DLC Play Now feature? All they have done is taken content or features that have been in the game, at least a lot of these are, out of the retail build and are charging you to put them back in. It feels like going to buy a new card but the dealership tells you if you want hub caps and dashboard slide out cup holders, an ash tray, etc will all cost you more. If you don't buy it, then those cup holders and the ash tray will be holes in your dash board and that would look ugly.

It is hard to do DLC for madden because you can't do something like "map Packs" or "new levels" or "new weapons" or "new equipment" like other games. I agree there should be a new commentary crew and I would pay for DLC historic rosters. I think that if EA struck a deal with the retired players to have them as DLC only so the money you spend on the DLC goes part to EA and part to them or something. I would pay for historic roster packs.

EA did this with NCAA 10'. They should already be in the game. You're basically paying to unlock a code.

Right here is why...

Re: Wow, EA

I think some of you are overreacting. How much DLC can they cram into Fallout 3?

You guys make it seem like EA is holding a gun to your head and saying "buy this DLC or die".

Those boosts do not have to be part of your experience. I bet the take a guy out of retirement boost is after you attempt to ask them to come back after the post season and you fail at it and it is making you waste those evaluation hours needed to draft good talent.

Oh well I wont buy it, its a waste of cash. Man entitlement is getting outrageous these days.

If I were EA Id sell the bare bones with play now for 15bucks and make you pay for each additional feature you want added... that would make everyone's head spin

Only when you wound up in bankruptcy court because no one purchased your product.

This is stupid, but the only way EA will learn is if no one buys it. I will not.

Re: Wow, EA

I agree with most people here. EA is a business and should try and maximize their profits. I personally wont buy, but the ONLY thing that has me scratching my head is the new difficulty level. There is no way you should have to pay for that IMO. That is pushing it.
