Which console's version is better - PS3 or Xbox 360?

Does anyone know which version (if any) will be better this year - PS3 or Xbox 360? I know that in past years the Xbox version was slightly better because it's developers had an extra year of programming. However, I've heard from a few people that the PS3 version will have superior graphics this year.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, this will just turn into a console war.

I played the demo on both consoles and the only thing I found to be different were the controls, and XBox version didnt lag as much.

We'll see if its the same for the finished product, but anyone saying that the 360 version looks much better is lying.

360 I guess, until they design it for the PS3 first.

It doesnt matter...the game is developed on a PC and then the code is compiled for each console seperately, PS3 and 360. Other than each systems GPU the game should be very similar.

Honestly, the only true answer for me is: "Whichever controller you prefer more." Everyone can piss off about all the console differences. When it comes down to Madden (since we're assuming you own both consoles), it's simply a matter of which controller feels better.

Unless you have a PSP and you want to import plays from the PSP. Then you need the PS3 for that.

360 games usually have more anti-aliasing than ps3 games. Most ps3 games have none and some use 2x but almost all 360 games have 4x anti-aliasing.

Not really. I have a PS3 and Im just saying I dont see any difference. That could change when I play the finished game for both, though.

No difference in Graphics, but PS3 has full replays and 360 does not.

I don't know why this needs to turn into a console war debate (to those saying this topic is asking for trouble), the OP probably owns both systems and just wants to make sure he gets the superior version. Often times multi-console games end up performing better for X system for various reasons.

Historically, a big developer like EA creates their multi-platform games extremely similar on purpose, so as not to make one seem vastly superior to the other, even if they might be able to due to a certain system's capabilities. So, I'm pretty sure for the most part Madden will look and play almost identical on both systems.

I own both consoles.
My gut tells me the 360 version will be slightly better, but I am getting for the ps3 because most of my online friends have that version - and I don't run the risk of RROD if I play the living crap out of Madden.
Plus, if I buy Madden for the ps3, I can leave Tiger 10 in my 360 forever.

When I put Madden 10 in my PS3, everytime I score a touch down My console gets up and does a celebration dance! Beat that 360 owners!
