    How to stop WR screen play?

    Any tips? I just got abused with some guy using Moss all game. I tried man with press/no press; cover 2 & 3. nothing works...Only thing works was the time I went over there manually. any tips where the cpu will stop it?

    The problem with the play is the defense get sucks into the blocks automatically; its like the game does that just to make the play work.. I never seen a WR screen in real life so effective;

    tips please!

    DE contain press coverage, or try a corner blitz and you might pick it off..

      Man Coverage usually does it for me, because the CB follows him.

        This was pretty easy to do and I was going to start a thread saying that the WR screen is the play that people will abuse to death. I did this WR screen against the CPU twice, but never went online.

          Nice TD but the safety's angle of pursuit was decent until it decided to cut behind your line rather than tackle at the end... ugly and annoying.

            Yes this is why I said the angle of pursuit is suspect. Polomalu would have tackled me in this case (As he did in the demo). And I'm sure all of the All pro safeties would have stopped that play. It's like the safety had the best angle and then at the last minute "filed in."

              I have been getting torched by the WR screen myself... even when I'm in cover 2 which frustrated me. I think you guys are on to something with the DE contain.. let them loop out and be unblocked. I think man press would be the most obvious counter. Blitzing your CB could work too.. Need to try a couple of them out because straight man and softer zones were getting knocked up.

              WR and RB screens have been working this year... for and against me.

                do man coverage bump and run then hot route either a olb or the d end on the side he is screening to cover the flats. You could even move the player who is cover the flats right across the line of scrimmage from the reciever he keeps throwing a screen to.
