DB's see the ball before they react. Top tier corners should strafe faster than average corners so there is less of a need to turn their back to the ball. Just make Champ strafe backwards faster or turn quicker before swating at the ball.

WR's STOP, TURN, ELEVATE AND CATCH. ie. Rocket catch. I know most ppl are like heck NO but if you take it out for offense than it should be taken out for defense as well. It's too easy for ppl to strafe and RC on D online. I think it's funny that ppl didn't want to use it on Off but they use it all the time on D with no complaints.

A draw play for positive yards. I think the coding for these plays need a lot of work. I never see them run online and when I try to set one up the result is a tackle for loss 90% of the time. O-line should pass block not run block on a draw.

Not all RB's can pick up a blitz. Too often, small RB's stop my LB's from getting to the QB. Some RB's should just get ran over by DE's once and a while.

Batted passes by DL and LB's. I see maybe one or two every other game. With the lack QB pressure or sacks there should be more batted balls at the LOS.

Some RB's and WR's do regain their balance. Agile backs should regain their balance or at least stumble farther before falling down. This animation (stumbling before falling) is in M10, (can't seem to duplicate it now) it just doesn't play that often. Players put their hand on the turf to regain balance every Sunday. It's in M10 PS2 but what happened to NG.

Big RB dragging smaller players for 5+ yards. This animation is in M10 but you never see it online. I changed the BKT and TAK sliders in practice mode and saw this animation for the first time tucking (with a big back) w/luggage.

Pressure on the QB without blitzing. All too often 3rd and long situations (10+ yards) are converted (for a 1st) online due to the lack of front 4 pressure, requiring the need to blitz leaving receivers open. Blitz plays sending DBs take way to long getting to the Qb and are useless online. Sometimes a DT will collapse the pocket.

Crack back or cut blocks by WR or TE. WR in Madden grab and lock on DB's instead of trying to cut them down. I have yet to see a big TE de-cleat a tiny DB on a running play. I see these in NCAA 10 all of the time. M10 needs more bodies flying around the field.

Teams that ground and pound with sucess. People (online) pass with teams that run the ball due to the overall lack of consistant run blocking. Avarge to subpar LB's seem to often get of the block and close down the running lanes. People will run the ball more if M10 had better run blocking.
Fumbles. I've seen maybe 4 or 5 in 20 online games.

Defensive Pass Interferance. With the rule changes, there is one almost every game. If your not going to remove RC-ing on D then make them get called for more DPI as a risk/reward for using it.
I started this thread b/c I wan't to help improve online gameplay. You all won't agree with my ideas but you can't argue with the video.
Maybe Ian will see it and use it to help correct some glaring issues. Maybe he won't.
