Too many Defensive TD's?

This is a huge problem for me, So far though 5 games in my franchise I have thrown 7 picks with Palmer. 5 have been run back for TD's. I had 2 in the last game, both over 90 yards. This is killing me and really raising the scores of my games. I have no problems thrown INT's but everytime I throw one the opposing player just out runs my entire offense. Anyone know how to fix this?

What settings are you playing on? I am not seeing much of that unless I throw to a covered receiver in the flat.

I play myskill and my passing is a 10 equal to what the all-pro would be and I have cpu settings at default. I play with player speed threshold at 25 maybe that has something to do with it, i dont know. I havent thrown a pick in the flat yet, most of them come from deep or the middle of the field and the cpu just outruns my players.

I have seen a total of 4 happen in a single game already(3 for me one by the CPU)There are and will always be an excessive amount of pick 6s because the game does not have real time fatigue. Tell me how many players can drop back 15-20 yards make a pick IRL and then sprint 60 yards down field at their top speed. There are not many players who could pull that off and that is why defensive TDs are fairly rare.

In madden fatigue is added on AFTER the current play is ran. This means I could take Vick and run in circles for a full min and then run down the field and score a TD all at the exact same speed. It looks kind of like this.

ive noticed too many INTs on both sides so in my franchise i have them turned down to 10 for me and CPU.....still get a pick or 2 a game if its a bad pass or tipped ball so its still realistic.

I'm actually getting a realistic number of INT's this year by me and both the cpu. All the picks I have thrown were into bad coverage, my only problem is every pick I throw is returned for a TD by the cpu.

I'm not having a problem with this. In my 6 games wth the Texans, Shaub has 11 INT's (All-Madden), but none of them have gone back for six. The longest return against me was like a 35, which is pretty solid.

I am getting the SAme thing! Interception returned back for Tds I don't know if it's cause where I throw (coverage) but the run back is insane unreAl, mostly happens Against the Pittsburgh corners in human vs human games

I've been picked off 4 times and not one has been a pick 6 ..

I find the only picks that have been taken to the house on me are the ones made out in the flats.

Other than those I always take the right angle, I've run down CBs with my LT ..

Wow just after posting this I threw 2 INT's against the Ravens and guess what 2 TD's. The 1st one was crazy Reed pick it off at the 50 and he broke 3 tackles somehow and ran it to the end zone. I almost quit after that. The next one Ray lewis picked it off and somehow out ran Chad Johnson who I was trying to run him down with.

I'm going to start using Rewinds on these because it is crazy. So whenever I throw a pick 6 I'm just going to use a rewind and punt the ball away on the next down thats the only thing I can come up with. Sliders wont fix this because I dont throw a lot of INT's it just the ones I throw end up a touchdown.

I'm getting more than 1 per game right now I think online( I think I've gotten 7 in 5 games) and it's too many. One game I had 2 within 11 seconds of each other lol.

All you have to do is run laterally after the pick and that usually creates enough distance to turn and run down the sideline.

This has been a Madden issue for a few years, and it is still an issue in 10. I've played 10 games in my franchise, and Dre' Bly has 7 int for 5 tds. There is at least one defensive td every single game.

Yeah its one of my only few gripes with this game, but I hate to use rewinds but im going to start whenever I feel a unrealistic defensive td happens.
