CPU QB will NEVER take a sack!

Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration. But it seems to me that the CPU QB would rather throw up a wobbly floater as he's being hit, or worse, just toss it at a defender as he's about to be sacked. This not only results in very low sack numbers, but very high INT numbers as well. I've noticed this to be more of a problem with top QBs like Peyton, Brady, and Brees...I've never sacked any of them and routinely get 3-4 INTs per game against them. It's less of a problem with crappy QBs like Jamarcus Russell and Trent Edwards, who seem to be more willing to go down under pressure.

Is anyone else having this problem or am I just crazy?

Known issue. Hopefully EA fixes this. It does get annoying.

Known issue. Hopefully EA fixes this. It does get annoying.

I've seen people talking about the CPU not taking sacks, but I'm not sure enough is being made about the high INT totals it results in. It's singlehandedly winning me games because Tom Brady is giftwrapping me 4 INTs, which would never happen in real life.

Also, is anyone else noticing this issue more with the top QBs? Doesn't seem to be as much of a problem with mid-lower tier QBs. That's really the part I'm wondering if it's just me or if everyone is noticing this.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I definitely have games where I get sacks. Had a 5 sack game against the Dolphins myself. But I've played Manning and Brady multiple times each now, and they absolutely refuse to take sacks, and instead throw giftwrapped INTs. And because of this I'm more likely to beat teams with top QBs than I am teams with crappy QBs, and it's ruining my franchise.

Seems whenever I come in from the blind side the QB will always take the sack. However, if the QB can see me coming then he will USUALLY try to get if out. I still get some sacks with the QB seeing me coming especially when I dive for the QB instead of trying to wrap up.

Was having the same problem used some custom sliders and recorded 6 sacks with the Bears vs Denver in a preseason game. Going to try a couple more games with the sliders to see how it works. 6 is too many but there has to be a happy medium. If EA does not patch the other problems with the game, it will not matter because I will be taking my game back to Gamestop.

Dive(X button on 360) is your friend.When I used to come straight at him he would throw that wobbly pass but now when I use dive when close I get a few sacks per game.Yes,even with LB's.

i have trouble sometimes...i sacked peyton manning 3 times and made him throw 2 pics because of pressure though...was using the texans...but there are times when the qb stay in pocket for ten seconds and the wr/te/rb makes one move into open space then boom completion....ALL-MADDEN

I don't know how you have this problem. I just finished a 6 sack game against the Eagles and I'm the Chiefs playing on All Pro. Also Jackson my LE has 11 sacks in 3 games if anything it's too easy.

I just played two games. The first was Raiders (me) vs. Ravens (cpu). I sacked Flacco 5 times in the first half. One on a safety blitz, a corner blitz and the rest from a 4 man rush. Only the safety blitz was me, the rest were the cpu controlled.

The second was Panthers (cpu) vs. Ravens (cpu), zero sacks but I only played a half. Peppers was a non-factor. I dunno, sometimes the computer will sit back and take the sack, other times he'll throw it no matter what.

I think it's pretty good overall though because I do get pressure, even with a 4 man rush. Since the NFL average is roughly 2.2-2.3 sacks a game, it works for me. A big sack game here evened out by a non sack game.

No, it's not just you. Guys like tjack and Jamarcus Russell take sacks when I play them, but it seems like the elite qb's would rather throw picks than take sacks.
