    Your best game so far

I always love reading about people's most intense games that they've played, so decided to start a thread (forgive me if there is one).

I just had mine, in week 3 of my Dolphins franchise, the 1-1 phins against the 1-1 Chargers.

We'll pick up at halftime, when I'm down 14-7. My run game can't do ****. Pat White hasn't done much at QB, missed several easy targets.

They get a FG early to go up 10. I really needed a TD, and Pat White comes up big in a great drive, converting on a few 3rd downs with short, quick throws and even with his legs on a few plays. I get a Brown 1 yard TD to make it 17-4.

2 plays later, and what happens? Tomlinson runs it up the middle, I have about 6 guys bringing him down, and he breaks out of it and runs 79 yards for the TD, putting them back up 10.

So I get the ball to start the 4th quarter, and I REALLY needed a touchdown. White leads the charge in an almost identical drive as before, this time ending in a Brown 3 yard TD.

I force a stop, and get the ball with about 4 minutes left. I drive down the field calmly yet again, this time Ronnie Brown doing a lot of the dirty work. On 4th and inches from the 25 with about 2 minutes left, I decide to run it down their throats instead of going for OT, because I feared they'd score if I gave them enough time.

I convert, and eventually get down to the 1 yard line, 2nd and goal. 1st Ronnie run: stuffed, second: stuffed. So now I'm faced with 4th and goal from the 2, down by 3, and I have a HUGE decision. I could risk it, but Brown had just been getting stuffed.

So I kick the last second FG, tied it up at 24, going into OT. I win the toss, and just drive down the field pretty easily, the only fault coming at 4th and 1 from their 40, and I converted. I get it down the the 1 AGAIN.

1st and goal: stuffed. 2nd and goal: stuffed, AND RONNIE BROWN FUMBLES. WHY DIDN'T I KICK THE FG!!!!!!! BECAUSE I WANTED ANOTHER BROWN TD TO END IT! Luckily I challenge it, and the play was thankfully reversed. 3rd and goal, I take Ronnie again, he gets behind a blocker, and jukes past and walks into the endzone, I win, 30-24!

Easily one of the best games of Madden I've played.

I can't even pick just one, they have all been crazy fun. Most recent Vikings vs Packers (me), I was on Jackson like "hot glue". AD was ballin', but I managed to maintain him. Grant was having a nice game; occasionally breaking for large chunks of yards, and Rodgers was efficient, but not dominating.

I was letting my D just take care of the game for me, but Vikes O-coordinator made some adjustments in the second half and T. Jackson lit me up in the air and ground. I was shocked, but amazed on how the momentum took a shift.

Well, when it mattered I was up 20-19 and the Vikes were attempting to win in the last 2 minutes, but my D came up with some great pass breakups and I stopped them on 4 and 2 to for the win. Sick game, Madden is finally back, at least for me.

Last night in my Seahawks franchise vs. the Cardinals. I was 4-4 and they were 5-3 heading into the game so it was a big one. I go up 7-0 and they come back and tie it 7-7. I get a field goal to go up 10-7 and it stayed that way for a while. they get a drive going but I hold them to a field goal and it is 10-10 with about 3 minutes or so left. I can't do anything and have to punt. they get the ball back and put a drive together and hit a field goal with about 3 seconds left to win it 13-10.

5 overtime game ranked Quickmatch. I missed two FG's for the win in OT then my oponent pick sixed me. I was so much better than him but I had my chances so I can't complain. I like the difficulty in 40+ yard FGs, they are not a guarantee this year.

Re: Your best game so far

I was playing Green Bay with Detroit in my franchise. It was a defensive battle the whole way, 3-0 Green Bay heading into the 4th. Only had a total of 56 yards and I subbed in Graham Harrell to replace Matthew Stafford and he goes 11-11 for 153 yards as we take the lead 17 to 3. But I guess the comeback AI kicked up in high gear and they tied it up with 1 minute to go. As I'm driving down the field, I get to the 37 yard line with :4 seconds left. My kicker hooks it left! OT!

I won the toss, I got the ball moved the ball good and I decided instead of running to the ball just pass it since Harrell was like near perfect, I pass it to Calvin Johnson and gets it and laid out on the field and fumbles as Charles Woodson picks it up and runs it back for the game winning TD.

Epic game. I was pissed off.

In my Raiders franchise I won 33-30 in OT against the Giants. I came back from a 14 point 4th qtr defecit. Man what a game. As a side-note, in my dynasty the Giants are now 0-6.

This may sound funny as my best game in Madden 10, forgot what week it was, but I'm using the Vikings and playing at home against the Seahawks-All-Pro with a few slider tweaks-

I'll keep it short they kicked my a** 38-0. It the best game because my team was flat Jackson was benched late in the 3rd and AP was held under 60 yards and I had like 25+ carries. Arron Curry was a Beast against the run. I loved it becasue it shows me Madden as come along way. Every team in the NFL has a week where they cant get out of there own way. the game just rocks!! been playing since Friday and I siitin at work going crazt to get out of here play. I'm 9-4 with the Vikings so far

Re: Your best game so far

My best game so far actually came from the first game I played. It was an online game with a friend. I just wanted to get used to how the game plays, I thought I was going to get my butt beat cause he's been playing the game for two days already before I got the game.

Anyways, I played the 49ers and he played as the Packers at the start of the game I got the ball and got one first down then had to punt it off. He got the ball marched all the way down the field and in the end zone I intercepted the ball. I got a few first downs but a holding call made me punt the ball again. He ended up with a 3rd and inches about midfield. I thought he was gonna run it so I went for the all out blitz so of course he did a step back pass to his wide receiver and he did a juke move to my corner and I missed the tackle and he ran in for the touchdown. That pretty much ended the first half at 7 to 0.

Still thought I was dead in the water if it wasn't for the interception I'd probably be down 14 to 0. The second half was a defensive battle we both were moving the ball but I threw an interception and he fumbled the ball once to end two good drives by both of us. Pretty ugly game actually but sometimes ugly games make more exciting games to play. Anyways, 4th quarter he's driving the ball and I stop him 4th down and he's going for a 45 yard field goal, and just misses it to the right. I have about 2 minutes left to score a touchdown. I'm driving the ball and FINALLY I hit a big play I pass the ball to an open Michael Crabtree and run past 2 defenders and I get tackled at about the 5 yard line. I run the ball get to the three yard line, I run the ball no gain, I run the ball down to the one yard line. I'm all out of timeouts with 5 seconds to go in the game. Last play of the game. When calling my next play I figure he's gonna do an all out blitz. I have my wide receiver run to the left and I do a quick pass to Isaac Bruce, I pass it over his head but he makes a one handed grab and I'm one on one with the corner and the corner wraps me up and I fall forward for the game tying touchdown!

I start overtime with the ball. I do a slow but steady drive down the field. 3rd down Shaun Hill just got hit while he threw the ball and the ball goes right into a defensive players hands but he drops it! 4th down got about a 45 yard field goal just like the one my opponent missed to pretty much end the game. I thought I kicked it short but it just barley went over the field goal post to win the game! I wasn't even sure if it went in until I saw my players celebrating.

My first game probably will be the most memoriable don't think I'll be able to beat this game.

Denver Broncos (me) vs Cleveland Browns

Played this game on All Madden w/ 8 minute quarters on the Wii. I start the game running the ball real well with Knowshon but stall on the 4 yard line and take a 3-0 lead. Knowshon would get a TD the next drive and I look to be in control 10-0 after first quarter. Browns couldnt get there running game established. I then miss a FG with Prater and Browns drive a get a FG. 10-3. I'm able to score on a TD pass to Scheffler. 17-3. Browns running game gets going as I cant stop Jamal Lewis at all. 17-6 and then 17-9. I have the ball with 5 minutes left and of all times not to go 3 and out I do. Then I watch almost helpless as Brady Quinn drives down the field and its 17-15. Browns go for two. I send an all out blitz and Elvis Dumervil drills Quinn as I'm able to survive 17-15. My kicker Matt Prater was 1-4 for FG's in this game.
                    DENVER BRONCOS (8-4)
                    WEST VIRGINIA MOUNTAINEERS (9-3)

Re: Your best game so far

Week 10 of my Franchise as the Cowboys, I was sitting at 9-0 (still messing with sliders, but I started with them favoring me and am working down) against the 9-0 Packers. The last week Tony Romo broke his collarbone against the Eagles, so Jon Kitna is starting for me.

Early in the first, on the Packers' second drive, Orlando Scandrick picks off Aaron Rodgers in stride and takes it back 45 yards for a TD to put me up 7-0. On my next drive, Jon Kitna throws an off-target pass that is picked by Charles Woodson and taken back for a TD to tie the game at 7-7.

Fast forward to the middle of the 2nd quarter, I'm down 14-7 after a big run by Ryan Grant and Jon Kitna comes out and throws a second INT, this one to Nick Collins, who take it 75 yards to put me down 21-7. I get a good kick return out of Felix Jones, getting the ball 3 yards deep in the endzone and making it out to my 38. 2 plays later I break out the Wildcat and run a Jet Sweep to Jones who takes it 60 yards for the score. 21-14. The Pack stalls at the end of their next drive and settle for 3 to make it 24-14 with 1:00 left in the 1st half. I bring out Stephen McGee to replace the atrocious Jon Kitna, and McGee's 2nd pass hits MIles Austin in stride on a post pattern, leading to a 74 yard score.

I get the ball to start the second half, down 24-21, and go 3-and-out on the opening drive. We battle back and forth most of the second half, with the only big plays being a 56 yard scoring run by Marion Barber and a 26 yard score by Ryan Grant. After kicking my 3rd FG of the day, I'm up 37-31 with 2:15 left in the game. Rodgers has been looking good all day, but the Pack decides to stick to the running game, using up all their timeouts while sill on their end of the field. They have the ball 1st and 10 on their own 48 with 0:56 to go when they start throwing. Greg Jennings makes an amazing catch to give the Pack 1st and 10 from my 17. They spike the ball and come out with 4 WRs looking for the score with only 0:15 left on the clock. Rodgers heaves one up for Donald Driver, but Ken Hamlin makes a one-handed INT to seal the game.

Cowboys win 37-31 to stay unbeaten.

Ohh, it had to be my game where I (Seahawks) marched down the field in a two minute drill down 13-6. Josh Freeman is my QB. With 13 seconds left, no timeouts, I'm at the 8 yard line, clocks running I did a PA roll out to the right. Nobody was open, so I started scrambling to my right. I was running out of room so I just gunned a lead pass while running to John Carlson also going to the right. He dives for it, catches, touchdown!
