Game speed now set to slow for all online modes

Per Ryan Ferwerda's twitter:

Ok, it's done. So, here's the deal. Game speed for all Online head to head games (including Fracnhise) is now SLOW.

Unfortunately, to change OF games vs. CPU to slow, we need to patch. This will be in the first patch. All other online games are slow though

Guys please thank these guys at EA for getting to this stuff so quickly, sure it should have been their to begin with but you have to appreciate how quickly the guys at EA are getting this stuff fixed.

I'm not going to thank them for one minor fix which never should have been necessary. I may consider thanking them when they fix the multitude of far more important issues.

It's only been a week man. I think they are making pretty good turnaround on some of the issues but to each his own.

If anything they should have switched to fast. Slow is super unrealistic.

why cant they just give us an option for online. slow or normal. is it really that hard to do. i really dont want to play in slow motion. the nfl is a fast game. that's why when rookies enter the nfl the first things scouts and coaches tell them is that they will need to adjust to the faster speed of the game.

I just played a game in my Online Franchise and it was still at Normal. Looking forward to playing on slow.

Seriously...Why must we only adhere to the settings they want us to use...If I wanna play a ranked game of 10 minutes, why can't I. Why must I only use the settings they give us...

NOOOOOOOOOOO! You've got to be kidding me! I hate slow! It is not realistic in the least. I can't play on slow, it ruins my timing. Normal and up is closer to the real NFL. I can't believe all you peoplebarking about wanting SIM football, and then you all moan and groan because "Normal" is set to default and you would rather have slow...

My God. #1) Slow is too damn slow. #2) Normal in Madden 10 is already slower than 09!

A lot of people are thinking that for the game to be slower than 09 that the speed needs to be set to Slow, when that is NOT true! Normal is already slower. I am sorry, but this crap really aggravates the crap out of me. All you "sim" players that let this happen, or that begged for this to be changed. Thanks for making this unplayable online for many people, as well as making Online even more unrealistic now. Good job...

Slow is perfect!! Online was waaay too fast! That is what's unrealistic. North and South change of direction is ridiculous on Normal & Fast.

It wasn't "way too fast"! It was set to Normal! Normal is much closer to realistic NFL speed than ****ing slow!

You've got to be kidding man. Slow replicates NFL action, in my opinon, better than any other game speed. I'm thrilled! Sucks for you though.

It doesn't sound like you have a clue about what you are talking about. How is Hester running a 5.0+ sec 40-time realistic???? Huh? How? Slow is not realistic or sim.
