Is freezing common?

The game froze while I was checking stats after the first game I played. Is that common?

I have 5 days to return this to Gamestop. If it constantly freezes, it's going back to the shelf.

I'm seeing slight hiccups before every snap on the PS3... is anyone else seeing this?

I get major hiccups after the snap on some plays.

i used to get hiccups here an there but its been completly eliminated since i installed the game to my xbox 360s hard drive everything is smooth an loads alot faster

PS3 or Xbox? I agree, it's pretty bad at times...

Same here...no hiccups, faster loading and less wear and tear on the system. If you have the storage space, install it.

Maybe if I install it on the drive it won't keep freezing.

HDD install here too, and no freezes so far. I get a few hiccups, especially after I get sacks, and during the half time replays. Was like that off the disc too.

Mine just froze, which is why I turned it off and am now on-line. It did it at halftime, franchise mode. Not a big deal, except I was having a great game. I'm into my franchise 5 years and this is only the 3rd or 4th time it's done it.

My game freezes in every game. Its unplayable, and its the only game that freezes. I've installed it to the hard drive, wiped the cache, deleted all of my madden saves, everything that I've found. Its legitimately unplayable and I am angry.

Mine froze for the first time today, I've had it since release day and have played alot. I started a game and it froze, the screen went completely black out of nowhere, halfway thru the first. I started a second game, and it froze less than a minute into the first, this time the image on the screen stayed on, with some squiggly lines thru it, as it was froze. I haven't tried it again yet today since those two freezes earlier, but I was caught quite offguard by it.

It froze again after the second game I played. I'm trying to play in Superstar mode, and so far it has frozen twice after the end of the first preseason game.

This game is unplayable if it freezes at the end of every game.

So far I've played three games, and every one froze when the game ends, either looking at stats or trying to quit back to the menu after the game.

it froze 2 out of the first three games, but 0 out of the next 52.

I finished my first game since the second game I've ever played today, but when I got to the quit game and tried to quit, it froze. This is unplayable and ridiculous.
