Trade 1
I gave up: RT Mike Gandy, 7th round pick
I got: CB Antonio Cromartie, 1st round pick, 2nd round pick

I had Mike Gandy playing right tackle for me but I decided I would sign the younger Kwame Harris so I looked for a team that needed a right tackle. The Chargers were apparently pretty desperate. Now I have the cousins Cromartie starting at both corner spots.

Trade 2
I gave up: RE Bertrand Berry
I got: MLB A.J. Hawk, 2nd round pick, 4th round pick

I wanted Calais Campbell to get more playing time so I moved Berry to the Packers for a younger former 1st round pick in A.J. Hawk. I will move him to LOLB and move Dansby inside.

AJ Hawk has A potential. But his overall is like 78. I picked him up in free agency once.

But those trades a pretty wicked.

I tried trading a 1st,2nd and Mcnabb for Asomugha but the raiders wouldn't bite. I guess you have to get lucky with a team in a desperate situation.

Yea one thing I noticed was that sometimes when they are rated really low in a certain position they're extremely desperate, but it doesn't seem to work with all teams.

Maybe Hawk is an "A" in a updated roster but he's a "B" in mine.

I traded off ochocinco in my current bengals franchise along with a 3rd and 4th to miami for vontae davis, a 2nd, and a 3rd. I then signed marvin harrison to fill in as my reciever until I can draft a replacement.

Asomugha is a beast and probably could be had for (2) 1st round picks and a cb. Also on the skins they have a rookie lb (orakpo?) that ive seen in real preseason and hes will be really good. Already getting it done!

I guess if you like playing the game unrealistically, which its obvious you do, those are good trades.

As the Packers I was able to trade Harris, Grant and a First for Mcfadden Asomugha and a First. I kinda felt cheap after doing it though.

I guess if you like playing the game unrealistically, which its obvious you do, those are good trades.

Haha I was just waiting for someone to say "unrealistic". It works in the game so I might as well do it. In my opinion it would be unrealistic if I changed players ratings then traded them.

I know what you mean about feeling cheap, I traded Nathan Vasher for a 4th round pick and felt like I cheated the cpu

Damn, Vahsher has really fallen. Back in 2006, Bears fans were calling him a top 5-10 corner....now they hardly want him on the team.

You can trade a your 1st for another's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. So easy.

Damn, Vahsher has really fallen. Back in 2006, Bears fans were calling him a top 5-10 corner....now they hardly want him on the team.

The only reason anyone wants him on the team is it would cost about 5 million in cap space to cut him

You can trade a your 1st for another's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. So easy.

That won't work in my franchise. I tried to swap firsts with Denver and then I was going to send their first to Seattle to make the draft more accurate and the cpu rejected my proposal
