i drafted a DT with the #5 ovr pick and when it was time to sign my draft picks i could sign everyone of them expect my #5 over wtf and now he signed with the ravens...wtf?

You should have just signed all the other guys and then turned CPU resign players on and advance past the stage. They would have signed him for you.

This happens sometimes. It happened in 09 whenever I drafted Rey Mauluaga.

No, I'm in year 10 of a franchise and I have not had it happen. Only happens when you draft certain players I think.

Would he not accept your offers? He was 5th overall picked, so he wants big money. And was this a inported class?

yeah nothing happened first i was thinking hmm maybe hes holding out cool but then i was thinking i didnt think ea put that in and then i got pissed cause ravens signed him and i had to trade to get him back

It doesnt necessarily mean its broken or bug riddled, I had this happen to me once in a previous franchise, using imported classes, traded up and got the 7th pick in the draft from the Vikes, a Right End, but I couldnt sign him because he wanted too much money.

No...it has nothing to do with money. This happened in 09 for me and my buddy had it happen to him last week in 10. You just can't click on him. You can't even get into the contract negotiation menu. It's a bug. When it happened to me, I had plenty of money.

Has nothing to do with cap room. Happened to me in 09 and this year. You keep pressing the button to open negotiations and nothing happens.

I just backed, set sign draft picks to
CPU and simmed it.
