A little of topic, but is it just me or does it seem that there are never any serious injuries in player games? I have played two seasons (I have played every game), and have never seen a player injured for longer than a quarter. It may sound crazy, but I would love to have a player of mine out for 2-6 weeks when playing with him in a game. It would feel more authentic to me.

Signed. The one where franchise players never see a guy who is on IR when they start their franchise EVER again is absolutely ridiculous.

Signed. My suggested implementation:

1.) 5 IR slots per team. IR slots do not count toward roster limit.
2.) Have "Waived/Injured" option. Do you already have 5 players on IR? Did you just lose your star player, too? Use this option to place a lesser player on IR back into Free Agency, and free up an IR spot. The waived/injured player's injury persists, obviously. This allows for flexibility despite the 5 slot limit.
3.) Allow this to be done from the Player Management screen for Play Now games. Went to place Brian Urlacher on IR, and I couldn't. This option was on Last Gen, and I'd like to see it included for this one.

I'd be willing to wait for next year's game for this to be done in a realistic/viable manner.
