Scouting rookies - blue potential bar?

I have noticed that some rookies have a blue potential bar after you scout them. Does anyone know what this means? I've looked and can't find an answer.. Thanks..

    I haven't.
Just remember, potential doesn't equal ability

It basically means they have average potential, the green bar is a high amount of potential, blue is medium/average amount and yellow is next. Basically, just means they are pretty good, but don't have as much potential as green bar players.
Caution: Whiskey, weed and Warren Zevon before writing.

No, I am pretty sure it is green yellow and red for the levels and they have a high, average, or low written in them. With the blue, which I have seen once, there are no words in it.

blue chip prospect maybe? i haven't tested it, but blue chip prospects are always best in class. top prospects and the best athletes.

          just a theory

I figured it meant the default bar is blue, and they forgot to use less than or equal to and just used a less than in determining whether to go High or Decent..

Neither the high bar nor the decent bar is triggered (because high is greater than 80, and decent is less than 80, but neither one applies for EXACTLY 80, for example; I don't know that it's 80, don't go preaching that as fact) & it just shows the default backer bar.

False. I drafted a QB with a blue bar and he was a stud.

Another detail in the madden handbook that was "forgotten". Those skinny little books need to actually break down the game and not just show all of the default controls. EA seems to be pretty lazy when it comes to making handbooks for games.
