Do Coaches Progress?

I've noticed that after a good season the OVR rating of a coach does increase, but does a coach progress in the area of adding special perks to your team? For example the MCV +5, ZCV +5, and AWR +5 ratings... will a coach gain or lose those depending on how his season goes?

I have no idea but where and how can you tell that the coaches progress? Does it do anything to have a good overall coach who doesnt have good +skills?

If you go to coaching scheme it shows the coaches OVR and contract. After an undefeated season for example Sparano goes from 64 to 99. Only thing I can't figure out is if they ever gain those attribute increases. I think the OVR rating of a coach factors in signing FA's, whether or not the coach is "good".

I will keep an eye out if any coaches gain +skills but so far I dont recall anyone gaining/changing to anything new.

I think the only thing that changes is the ovr of the coach not his skills at-least I haven't seen there skills change yet. And I'm in year 6

That's disappointing, means certain coaches will always be useless.

Yes they do. I went 18-1 (Won the SB) with the Lions coach and he was rated a 99 under his coach screen.

He was asking if they grew in the +skills not the overall.

I don't believe they do, which sucks. Basically your stuck with your coaches attributes no matter how good/bad you do. Another great job EA!!111

What sucks is that I went undefeated and won the SB with Raheem Morris. After the season he was rated 100, but his attributes are still "all players -5 AWR". This is rediculous. Also more than half of the coaches don't have any attributes at all. This really leaves all of us probably using the same few.

Yeah definitely hoping they implement more HC 09 into the franchise mode next year.

as far as i know, you have to wait until the end of the coaches contract.

anyone know how to see the overall rating of coaches during the coach hire period?


and yeah, i hope they do bring in some ideas from hc09 for next year. but keep in mind, the coach hiring process, while better than in madden 10, was one of the weakest aspects of hc09. hopefully they can improve on it if they decide to add it in from hc09.

Not necessarily I use the raiders in my franchise and i had Ted Tollner as my Offensive Coordinator during that year jamarcus went up 5 points, I then signed Norv Turner in tha second season of my chise and after that season Russell only went up 2 points...

also it really is ridiculous that coaches do not progress and gain atts or lose atts :
