    Best. Draft. Ever.

Just had an amazing draft (well maybe not the BEST ever but a very solid one) in a Detroit Lions 'chise I am simming through to see how long it takes to get them to the play-offs. (About to start my 4th year, still no playoffs). Here is the draft, I had all my 7 picks, I think I had the 12 pick or so:

Round 1: DT Devin Gilbert (79, A Potential)
Round 2: CB Russell Wilkens (73, C Potential)
    Round 3: C Travis Adams (82, A Potential)
Round 4: MLB Devontae Stream (75, B Potential - moved to LOLB, now a 77)
Round 5: LE Bernie Nichols (70, B Potential)
Round 6: TE Jordan Ray (65, C Potential)
Round 7: RT Aaron McNary (79, B Potential)

Just thouht I would share it with you

What are some of the better overall drafts you have had?

looks solid. alot of those guys might start/push other guys for a starting spot because of potential factors. i usually use ncaa draft classes so there arent many "sleepers"

Uh no. Not even close, especially with how easy the M10 draft is. I forgot the names but I had the 21st pick because I traded my Lions (I won the SB in my first year...Sliders MAXed) first for the Texans first (21st) and their third. Here was my draft (I don't remember the names)

      1st round: RT, 84 rating, A potential.
      2nd round: WR, 79 rating, A potential
      3rd round: MLB, 81 rating, A potential
      3rd round: OLB, 78 rating, B potential
      4th round: C, 80 rating, B potential
      5th round: WR, 70something, B potential
6th round: FB, 60something, D potential (only bad pick.)
      7th round: MLB, 70something rating, C potential.

Most drafts are too easy in M10.

                  Re: Best. Draft. Ever.

I have had a few drafts with 10 A potential players with several of them in the 80s overall.

it is too easy without scouting even. i once got a 78 a rb in the 6th round and a 79 a center in the 7th round in the same draft.

                        Re: Best. Draft. Ever.

This was before I set house rules for recruiting.

Traded my round 1 32 overall pick for rounds 2,3,4 pick 12. Then I traded my round two pick 12 for round 2,3 pick 16. These are my results.

                        Round 2
                        RG OVR 77 POT A
                        DT OVR 70 POT A

                        Round 3
                        CB OVR 74 POT A
                        ROLB OVR 83 POT A
                        LE OVR 62 POT A

                        Round 4
                        TE OVR 78 POT A
                        LOLB OVR 76 POT A

                        Round 5
                        TE OVR 82 POT A

                        Roung 6
                        RT OVR 83 POT A

                        Round 7
                        FB OVR 75 POT A

Ten picks, all POT A, and only one with a OVR below 70.
