How Do-able is this Fantasy Draft?

I created a list of players that I would like on my team. I don't know the updated ratings of most of these players and I also don't know which round they usually draft in. I just want to see everyone's input if it's possible getting a team like this or if it isn't possible which players should a switch out (Lower OVR rating but similar impact of player). I put asterisks next to the ones I definitely want....

    QB - Matt Schaub 77 13
    HB - Chris Johnson 88* 8
    HB - Jamaal Charles 64 26
    FB - Kevin Faulk 74 25
    WR - Andre Johnson 98 1
    WR - Miles Austin 71* 24
    WR - Percy Harvin 76* 19
    TE - Greg Olsen 82 15
    LT - Sebastian Volmer 62* 27
    LG - Robert Gallery 79 22
    C - Brad Meester 83 14
    RG - Jake Scott 88 5
    RT - Damian Woody 85 6
    LE - B. Berry 83 4
    RE - Justin Smith 83
    DT - Broderick Bunkley 82* 7
    LOLB- Rey Maualuga 79 12
    MLB - Jerod Mayo 88* 11
    MLB - Jon Beason 92* 3
    ROLB- Keith Rivers 78 16
    CB - Ellis Hobbs 83 10
    CB - Chris McCalister 86 9
    CB - Nick Vasher 75 23
    CB - Patrick Chung 75* 18
    FS - Nick Collins 93 2
    SS - Brandon Meriweather 79 17
    K - Neil Rackers 84 20
    P - Dustin Colquitt 78* 21

    Any input will be great...

After seeing it I see that I need to knock down a few of my high OVR players.....I'll keep working at it.

It's very unlikely that all those guys would be available if you're doing an online franchise draft with other people. If you're just doing a fantasy draft with the cpu then maybe.

Here's how our first round of our online franchise draft went:

I think 3 of your guys went in the first round alone.

I updated my list to include the round numbers that I will select the person. I think this is works...but will it be a good team?

Well if that's the case, then yeah you could probably get pretty close, because the CPU likes to draft highly rated FBs, Punters and Kickers early just because they have high ratings.

Plus the only stat the CPU seems to look at is OVR with no consideration of potential and age. You should be able to draft a full roster of young A potential players without much of a problem.

              That's definitely stretching it.

Do you have original rosters or updated ones, because I know that Jamaal Charles does undrafted with the original rosters,
              Purdue Boilermakers
              Washington Redskins
              Washington Wizards
              Washington Capitals
              Washington Nationals

Re: How Do-able is this Fantasy Draft?

Just about anyone under 80 you could get almost at your leisure (within reason of course).

I don't know if Chris Johnson will last until the 8th round. If you really want him, I'd draft him no later than the 2nd to be sure or definitely the 3rd.

I agree with the previous poster on Charles. If he's still in the 60s you could get him REALLY late. I'm talking late 30s round late.

Beason might end up going in the 1st round. The game seems to like high rated MLBs. Collins could go too. 93 FS can go in the 1st round. Mayo might make it to the 11th, but I think I would get him early. Then again, I don't like to mess around with my LBs when drafting fantasy teams.

Overall, I think you'd get most of the guys on this list with a little luck and watching how the draft is going. Once you get your 80s guys, you probably can relax a little more. AI seems rather all over the place once it's just average or below guys left.

Re: How Do-able is this Fantasy Draft?

I am fairly sure that Chris Johnson will go in round 5, if not before. Round 5 is the first "everyone take a HB" round, so he'll be taken there if he's not taken in round 1-2 (everyone takes elite players regardless of position).

Also, I wouldn't go as far as to say that the CPU doesn't factor in age. Whenever I fantasy draft there are quite a few QBs with OVR lower than Brett Favre that are taken before Favre because he retires after 1 year.

Okay, well maybe more like they don't factor in age enough.

Wide Receivers go insanely fast when you're using default rosters. Harvin probably won't be there when you want him.

That's not really true. All three of those positions last quite awhile.

The latter isn't necessarily true, either. Especially as the draft wears on.

Actually, 8th is about right. If he's a must go 7th, but you can definitely wait on Johnson. The game doesn't take into account his real-life November, so his stock won't be as high as it is in the real NFL right now.

Wideouts do go like crazy, that is correct, but Harvin lasts well into the teens. He's only a mid-70s guy. I've put him on two teams way late and he's killed it as my #2 while returning kicks.
