Ea is Under the Roster limit

I start my season yesterday FINALLY !!!! And I’m siming thru the preseason and it says the Jets are below the roster limit for Guards and Tackles .Did anyone else have this same problem with the new roster download ? There is no such rule in the nfl EA .Some teams have guys that play 2 and 3 spots on the O-line .Its stuff like this that makes me not wanna buy any of their games anymore .

I've gotten it with several roster updates.

Ironic that their own rosters are below the roster limits they impose

Of course, why the roster limits even exist still - I don't know.

I know it frustrating .You have to sign guys that are not even on the team and bury them on the depth chart so they dont play in the game .I wish EA would give a reason why they do this for .

They should just have full rosters and PS. And fix IR so it's like we see on sundays.

NCAA has far more players than Madden, if it's a space issue, just lower the detail level to give us the most realistic experiance.

I'd play if it looked like a Wii game if it had accurate physics and looked like a real game.

Agree plus they should have an inactive list on gameday just like they do in the NFL .

Unless it was on the Wii, I wouldn't want it to look like the Wii.

And if you're asking for the inactive list, then you should follow the same rule the NFL has for the 3rd QB:

If it's in the game...

I'd deal with it if it implemented inactive rosters and the like correctly.

It's ridiculous that we have roster limits. I should be able to carry just one center if I want to, I shouldn't be required to carry two of each safety.

I figured out why it does that .If you make a move like I cut Justin Miller from the Jets .The computer for some reason find positions you are under the limit at and you have to sign a player there .If you don’t add or drop anyone to a roster it will not say you are under a limit for a position …<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>

Some teams have 1 center , 1 left guard etc .So the jets still had Justin miller on the team from the last roster update so I cut him .Then when I simed the preseason game it said I was under the roster limit for a left guard .So If you make a roster move like cut a player with a team that has has only left guard ,left tackle etc you will have to sign someone @ the postion that only has 1 .If you don’t sign or cut a player to a team that is under the limit it wont say to sign anyone .

Right, every single team is below EA's min requirements, but they are still allowed to play games like that.

Once a transaction is made for a team, then the game doesn't let you play a game until the roster is filled properly.

It makes no sense that they do this .I wish they would come out with a reason why it happens .
