Wildcat

Is it possible to put a WR at QB for the wildcat formation? This is in an online franchise and I drafted a WR who is fast and has 74 throw power and 70 throw accuracy.

I really want him as my QB for wildcat!!!

if you select plays by formation you can insert different players at different positions. But I don't know if you and insert a WR at the QB spot. Probably though.

I know that Carolina's playbook has the wildcat, and I can put Steve smith in at QB...but it doesn't have any passing plays out of it...just blast left, power right and blast right (if I recall correctly)...so it should be an option in other wildcat playbooks...

Miami's playbook has 1 passing play out of it I think. But its not for a very big gain

You cant scramble during a pass play in the Wildcat though.

The eagles wildcat uses a RB or WR to snap the ball , or if possible change the WR to QB or RB for wildcat... probably can't do that in online franchise I'm not sure I don't play online much atm

wildcat is too predictable and rigid this year. I wouldn't bother unless you're running a power run offense.

use the cleveland browns playbook.....i remember using a play where i threw a pass with massaquoi

All wildcat plays have a WR at QB option that you can select with the right stick.

As for wildcat formations where it actually is WR at QB by default I think it's Cardinals, Eagles, and the Browns.

I hate to say this, but after the patch, wildcat is useless online. 1 play will shut this play down Everytime, no matter what wildcat play it is. Yes it is cheese, but when you play online you learn stupid stuff like this. The play is field goal block. This was highly effective before the patch, but after the patch they added an extra little hesitation that does not give you time to get past the field goal block defense

Dont knock it until you actually see it in action. I dont run this play myself, although I admit that I have done it 1 or 2 times on people. I learned this from ither people using it on me. One day I noticed this guy had his running back at saftey and he was in field goal block to stop the wildcat. I went to practice to make sure, and sure enough field goal block was what he was picking. The penetration is so great that you dont have time to bounce to the outside, and forget about the middle. You cant audible out of wildcat so it pointless. And with the patch adding that slight hesitation, its really a wildcat killer. Try it for yourself in practice and you will see
