draft discussion: compensatory picks, pre-existing draft trades

will there be any form of compensatory picks for not resigning FAs when their contracts are up? I think this could go a long way in the realism for offseasons.

Also, the first year of a franchise should reflect real-life trades involving draft picks.

for ex, the Roy Williams trade: in Madden, the Cowboys got Roy Williams in addition to retaining its 1st, 3rd, and 6th round picks. That's just unfair and unrealistic and puts Detroit in a bad spot in trading away one of its best players with virtually nothing to show for it.

    Thoughts?

At LEAST they should have pre-existing trades.

Comp picks would be tough to program, because it varies by player.

    I like it though.
