Most shameful Madden moment?

Post any awful stories or plays that just made you look like a fool.

Just had a game right now against the 49ers and the 49ers are at the goal line, Alex Smith goes to hand off to Gore, but I get to Smith before he can hand the ball off and he stiff-arms my player down and then bootlegs and does that behind-the-head taunt as he struts into the end zone

I got burnt by Alex Smith.

That's a glitch in how Madden handles replays. First down markers move, as well.

Your right! At the midway point, before the ball even hits the defenders/receivers hands, it says TouchDown! That's ever so wrong on so many levels. Definitely supports the folks who think the outcomes are predetermined.

All created teams appear as the Redskins when videos are uploaded

Your right! At the midway point, before the ball even hits the defenders/receivers hands, it says TouchDown! That's ever so wrong on so many levels. Definitely supports the folks who think the outcomes are predetermined.

I was thinking the same thing.

Pretty fishy when the screen reads touchdown with the ball still in the air.

It's a created team that replaced the Redskins in the NFL. The Boston Bulldogs.

I just saw jayhawker's response. Wonder what the bug is and how it relates to the banner saying Touchdown.

Basically, whatever is going on in the stadium after the play will still be going on during the replay. So if you get a first down, the yard markers will be moved already, and the scoreboard will say first down.

It is not showing what was on the board during the play. But it is showing what is on the board when you paused for the replay.

I was playing online against some obnoxious kid who cheesed plays repeatedly, squibbed every kickoff, went for it on every 4th, yadda yadda. So I'm down by 3 with about 1:45 left and I stop him for like 4th and 4. He comes out in a punt formation, and I know exactly what he's gonna do - Fake punt run with the upback. I pick a linebacker, run right into the hole he chooses and stone him easily a yard shy.

...Until my Defensive Tackle comes roaring in from behind, smashes into his runner and launches him forward over the line to gain for a victory

No vid, but I was driving for the win. My QB, Quinn, passed to Edwards, and as he's closing in on the game winning TD, when he gets wrapped up with 2 secs left. I start button mashing trying to break the tackle, and accidentally hit the shoulder buttons (pitch ball). Fumble, CPU recovers, game over.


Gaahhh........
