NFL Stadium Changes

I don't know about other teams stadiums but in Madden 11 the Carolina Panthers stadium needs to be updated. Before the 2008 season the Panthers removed the 2 small video screens on the scoreboards at each end of the stadium and replaced them with new huge HD video screens. Also I found the grass to be a bit off as well, in Madden 10 the grass at Panthers stadium looks like crap while in real life the Panthers have lush green grass. We have ranked in the top 5 in playing surfaces ever since we put down the new turf years back. I know it's dumb to care about this kind of thing but I thought maybe the Madden guys would see this thread and make the changes.

I guess if anyone else has changes they want made they can use this thread.

Yeah Ian...at the eagles stadium they changed all of the lights. Please add the new lights for Madden 11....THX!!!!!!!

The Skins will be implementing two new 100' HD video screens at each end of the field. I know Ian and them are on it, but just... in... case...

I can't believe the Madden crew had messed up soldier field for like, 4 straight years now. The upper-stands and scoreboards are way off...

Not that I care, cuz I love to hear bears fans complain about getting screwed by the ea guys, (mwah ha ha...) but its just surprising to me that they could miss something that's so obvious

I believe that's because soldier field didn't give EA rights to put their stadium in the game.

I've noticed something about these stadiums getting new video screens and that's the bigger the screen the bigger the ego of the owner. Jerry Jones has the biggest ego in the world and that's why he's got the biggest video screens in the world. Now Dan Snyder is getting 100 foot wide screens, God forbid if Donald Trump ever becomes the owner of an NFL team. The screens might be larger than the stadium.

I have a different perspective. Redskins fans have been complaining for years about their mini tron and I've been to numerous Redskins game and don't like the current mini tron. It's just too small and their little bright lite screen is outdated. As for the Cowboys, when you have a stadium with over 100,000 capacity, having a 60' video screen makes a lot of sense.

Well at this point not many people care how green the grass is in the any staduim in the game. People want better gameplay right now then anything. I understand your feelings of wanting the best accurcy in the game and all. But there are more important things in the game then just how green the grass should be. I feel that gameplay and OL/DL interaction and all that is the most important stuff Ian and his crew really need to focus on right before worrying about small things like that. Things like that is at the bottom of the list right now for them.:wink:

trust me man i have been so pist that they cant just move some things around ... they are so damn lazy but i was going to the espn 2k5 thread but i ussally glance at the madden topic thing at the right and i saw stadium changes ... so i had to see what people were saying

If you guys paid attention last year, Ian said they intentionally have it wrong in the game so that the city of Chicago can't sue for replicating the stadium since Ea doesn't have the rights to Soldier Field.

In Tampa, since the Glazers took over in '95, we don't have those huge ant mounts over by the north endzone corner anymore. And the sattelite dish on the pirate ship was only there in '96. Could you please remove these.
