    Help- precious gaming time

I normally can only give a game 50 mins to an hour max. I play all games and like to get through seasons. I play 5 min quarters no runs off. Can anyone suggest a better longer quarter more run off time toallow me some more realistic yards in the game. I especially struggle to clock up more than 1000 rush yards per season. Which per game is lower than 70 yard average.

Try 9 or 10 minutes with no runoff, or at maximum, a 15-second runoff. That should get you more plays and also keep your game time under an hour.

agreed...i played around alot in the beginning increasing from 7mins up and settled on 10mins with 15sec runoff. games take around 50-60mins. total plays around 110-120 which is right on par of a real game. plus it helps when end of 3rd qtr or so u start to see more subs as the progressive fatigue sets in. perfect balance for me and i think ull like it too

15 minute quarters with 25 second runoff works well too for plays and takes about an hour.

In game saves is another solution. Bring it back.

I have maybe an hour or two to play video games a day and I love madden. But I also would like to have time for the others. When I purchase other games I factor in my madden time and if its gonna interfere with it.

Those are some great suggestions. Had time last night and went for 9 with no run off. Run off annoys me as I like the chance to tailor plays a bit more once called with motion and routes and run off cuts this down. Never helped the run mind but I think the cowboys just had me shut down. Passing stats improved muchly though. Cheers guys for your help.

One thing that may help with that is to always be thinking a play or 2 ahead. When I play online I always try to call plays within 3-6 seconds of the screen coming up so that A)I have plenty of time at the line and B)my opponent has as little time as possible to think about his defense. I know my PB very well and I try to change formations on every play as well the personnel and I've caught many a player napping and not picking their play in time which sometimes leads matchups in my favor.
