dang its been awhile since i played, but that play alone makes me wanna fire back up my espn2k10 (updated rosters thru OS). why u do this to me man...im trying to go forward, not backwards lol

If you've seen any of the videos, there's a good chance that Madden won't be at that level yet.

I hear ya, just saying that while the blocking is improved it's not at the caliber you are looking for. Me? I can deal with the way the blocking is now from what I've seen in the videos. It's not perfect, but it's playable. I just want franchise mode to be like NFL Head Coach. That's all I want for Christmas.

The trouble is, I've only seen two teams that DID block like that on interception returns, and even they usually don't get into position that quickly. Defensive players in 2k5 were too aware in those situations.

yeah, blocking does get really annoying in Madden, I don't know how many times I'll have a open field and my FB is ahead of me and he looks he is about to nail some CB and he doesn't, he just goes the other way, its awful.

That video is sick. The way the players interact, and in some ways the way they do not interact is so fluid, it looks amazing.

In M10, if that happened the WR would not have had "momentum" take him out of the play but rather he would have immediately tackled the defender.

You guys should really stop posting these vids - you are making my last days playing M10 miserable!

That blocking is sick.
I too hate when you are through with a blocker and he just turns around and run off. Did ps2 Madden not have a thing where you could tell a blocker where to go?

I would rather all players be more aware then have no ability to know what is going on at the current time.. If you go up for a jump ball in Madden, the DB will think the ball is going to land 5 yds behind the WR.. when in reality, the WR is jumping in the air to catch it before it lands 5 yds back... but the DB has no idea that the WR is jumping.. The CB plays the ball, but is passive about playing the ball. He doesn't go for the ball; He waits for the ball to come to him...

On default, the interceptions were ridiculous on all difficulty levels in 2k5. The blocking, animations, and broadcast replays are noticeably better in 2k5 than in any Madden put out, but I also noticed some footwork problems with 2k5 and the infamous "stick-up-the-butt" animation(I dont miss that at all).
