Re: Good deal at walmart for this
I know they're not very popular on the forums, but Gamestop has a similar deal where you get $10 off a future purchase. Plus they have the 20,000 coin bonus.
http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...uct%5FID=76810I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Good deal at walmart for this
Walmart is not gamer friendly. At least the one near my apartment isn't. Target has a $5 gift card thing, and though I'm losing out on $15, it's better than giving my hard earned cash to Walmart.Comment

Re: Good deal at walmart for this
1st, a game I preordered, they completely screwed up. I preordered from one of their stores, paid for it months in advance, and when I got there the day after it was released, they had run out, even though I had PREORDERED. They told me it would be another week before they got more.
2nd, Black Friday. Now I know that it's a hectic process, but my friend and I waited about 4 hours in front of the game cases to get a couple of games. We were 2nd and 3rd in line. Instead of handing the games requested to the requesters, they took our requests, took them to the cash register, and we had to stand in line for another hour to an hour and a half. Get up to the register, and every single one of the games we requested was gone.
3rd, I received two copies of NCAA 11 as gifts from family and friends. They didn't have the receipts, but my friend told me he got it from Walmart, so I took it and was just going to return it for a gift card. I went in, stood in line at customer service. Stepped up, told the woman I'd like to exchange it for a gift card, told her I received 2 copies as a gift, and wanted a gift card to use on a game that was coming out in 3 weeks (Madden). She rudely told me "You have to exchange it for another game. We don't give gift cards for games." Which I replied, "Since when?" And in the rudest way possible as if I had asked the stupidest question possible, she replied "Since forever."
Now I know that's not true because I have returned games in the past, as well as other things. There is nothing on the website or in store that says anything about special rules for games. I wrote a long thought out letter to Walmart.com which went straight to the store I complained about. They called me yesterday to talk about it, but I have yet to return their call. I'll probably call them tomorrow.
I spend a lot of money on games and electronics, but I will no longer spend that money in a Walmart. I'll go to Target or Best Buy, even if the prices are higher. Best Buy by my apartment actually just won an award for best Best Buy in the nation. My friend works there, and they went to a Conference, and won that award. And they deserve it. Employees are awesome there, and Target is just as good in my opinion. Always personable and willing to help. I go to Walmart and I'm ignored in the electronics department.Comment

Re: Good deal at walmart for this
i'm surprised you had a problem returning something to walmart. from my experience, they really don't care and will return or exchange just about anything. other than that, i really hate walmart; nothing but made in china garbage. too bad the old guy that was all about "made in the usa" died.My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10
3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.Comment
