Surprisingly easy?

From reviews I've seen so far, something appears to be off. Maybe it's because I'm playing on all-pro and not all madden but I don't know.
With the demo, I kept the difficutly on Pro, and had pretty close games. They were really competitive.
So I just got Madden and put difficutly on All-Pro because thats what I usually play on. I take my Bears and start a franchise. First game is a preseason game vs Chargers. Here's what happened by halftime. 5 min quarters.
Score: Bears lead 49-3. Cutler with 330 yards passing and 5tds. Chargers have 4 turnovers, 2 picks and 2 fumbles. Both fumbles returned for touchdowns. Rivers stats are....7-22 with 91 yards passing.
Huh? Is anyone else experiancing this? I never ever had a blowout like this happen at halftime in Madden 10.
