    The "clipping" penalty

Maybe it is just me but every single clipping penalty called in my 2 seasons has really been a regular illegal block in the back with nobody going close to the legs.

If it isn't just me then it'd be nice if for Madden 12 they could get a new sound bite recorded and change the text to say 'illegal block in the back' in the menu rather than clipping and not ding me for 15 yards....this or actually have the penalty in the game actually be clipping.

This has bothered me forever in both Madden and NCAA, it's a block in the back and it's only a 10 yard penalty.

clipping doesn't have to be a block on your legs

Clipping is a block from behind that is at or below the waist; an illegal block in the black is a block from behind that is above the waist.

In general, these things happen way too often in both games: illegal blocks in the back happen way more than clipping, and neither happens with remotely the same frequency as a good old fashioned hold. Yet, in these games, with a slider setting the same, clipping happens ALL THE TIME. It annoys me to no end.

I hate when it happens a split second before I get tackled, and like 20 yards away from the play.

I had it happen to me 2 yards away from a punt return TD. Again, no where near the play.

Strangely, I've noticed that these kind of calls happen especially on KR's when I don't just fall to the ground when tackled. It's like the second I press A or the RS to fight the tackle, the penalty gets called.

I've noticed this too, on re-plays I can see the hit was above the waist, and from behind. SO thus should be a 10 yarder.... but like someone said... its almost as if the dialouge and Ref animation is not programmed in so it just calls clippin...

Also, something else that bothers me worse than how in the world Justin Beiber is popular... Is that holding is called on the CPU almost every-time when you punt to them if you set the holding slider anything above 50. (And at 50 holding is not called enough in other situations.)
