I'm new to Madden, and I was wondering are there off and def packages?

For example, the Giants have defensive packages where their DE plays LB and have 3 DT and 1 DE on the line.

Is there such a thing?

Yes,you use the right stick to go through the different packages on each formation.

they have a pretty cool sub for the goal line formation, where you can sub in the MLB, i do it to screw around ... i like to throw TD passes to Brian Urlacher

Do they consider offensive touchdowns for defensive players in regards to MVP awards/ probowls?

they had custom packages on old gen. they were the best. im pretty obsessed about them bringing that relatively small, but important feature back in.

i messed around with that a few years ago (in old gen) & it didnt. its possible that its different now, but i wouldnt be surprised if it didnt.

Packages are there like everyone said, but if you want this on in particular, then you're going to have to create it using formation subs.

Is there anyway to do formation substitutions other than in game??? (meaning altering the package in practice mode won't carry over into franchise)
