We all know that this (physics) is one of the last true steps to elevating the madden football game to the level of a legitimate real life football simulator. EA has the looks, they are getting close on the presentation, now all that is needed is just to make this play like a real game of football. If they just added physics it would fix so many problems that plauge the series. Eg:
-Lineman running into blockers and hitting a brick wall.
-Ball bouncing physics
-the "players bouncing off after the ball carrier is engaged" problem
-The whole cutting, planting, and running system
- It would make a giant DT like Peko or a Powerful RB like AP or Brandon Jacobs more valuable.
- It would also make players like Ray Lewis and Rey Maualuga and Bart Scott who jack people up more utilized.
-It would instantly make goal line offense and defense much more realistic and fun.
- All of these and so much more could be fixed if they'd just add physics!
The biggest thing I feel is that what I see on sundays is real life physics. Period. No ifs ands or buts. So I just feel like the developers at EA spots gaming are obligated to let us know when they plan on taking this series to the next level and to its true potential.
