Fantastic Presentation, if only it was Madden

It's amazing what a difference GREAT presntation can do for depth. I wish/hope there is something CLOSE to this in Madden 12, especially in Franchise Mode.

I might buy NBA 2K11 based on this video alone, I don't play b-ball games much but as a franchise junkie I might enjoy this one.

NOT BASHING MADDEN, just hoping to share some real ideas on what presentation should be. Most people bemoan Madden's lack of presentation but provide few alternatives or solutions, so here's a great example.

I wish I gave a what about that sport, that presentation value is phenomenal.

I was really impressed by:

-Time based stats
-Scores from around the league (FINISHED/UNDERWAY/NOT STARTED) Games really made that cool.
-Playoff game preview seen at the end.

One of the small things I liked that I really hope to see in Franchise Mode was the graphic of the Miami Starting Five (computer player models, not pics).

I WISH Madden would have something in the pregame where they show the top few offensive and defensive players (not just ONE) and have a few stats or an allusion to their abilities, ex: "_______________ is one of the best cover corners in the NFL, QB's try to stay away from his side of the field."

One of the things that makes Franchise stale after a few seasons is that you have no idea who the special/great players are when you play a game. Give me some story or background!!!!!!!!!!!

Dam.... Im seriously jealous of that game now. Being from the UK I've never watched/played B-ball so Im not that interested, but I would buy it just for that video alone. Are you watching EA? See what happens when you TRY Ian?

Thats pretty well done...And to think how hard that must be with games occuring so much more often than NFL games. Monthly leaders, last 10 game leaders, etc. In Madden we get standings, and single players stats. It would be great to hear a pregame talk that isnt generic (look in the qb's eye) and isnt always about the QB. I know Madden has improved over the past few years in regards to presentation, but 2k always seems to just do presentation right.

Same here. I watch an occasional game or two, but can't see myself playing an 82 game schedule on my console.

Regardless, this presentation looks phenomenal!

Yeah that presentation is amazing. I just don't see it ever being like that in Madden. I mean they gave us a new commentator this year and I wasn't too impressed to say the least with that.

WOW! Seriously, its like a real game! Unless EA fixes the broken gameplaning and other issues on Madden 11, this will be the last year I buy any EA Title.

The presentation on that game is just out of this world. Players look like their counterparts, Arenas are amazing, the crowds get into the games and react accordingly, the stats and break downs.

Seriously I am probably done with EA Sports. That will be the next game I buy. Way to go 2K Sports!

Great video. Thanks for sharing! I have a feeling that next year, we'll get the same BS explanation from Ian and his crew on their couch talking about how "everything you see on Sunday is in the game."

That video also really makes me wish 2K was still making College Hoops games. I'm not big into the NBA, but have always LOVED the 2K basketball series (college and pro, but prefer college). NBA 2K11 looks absolutely amazing, and like several of you here, I may wind up buying it, because, even though I'm not a huge NBA fan, I am a fan of quality sports games, and this DEFINITELY fits the bill.

I hope it comes out on PC. It really does look/sound amazing. I have NBA2K10 for PC and I really like it.
